Today I’ve ordered a kit I’ve discovered days ago when I was looking for more silent fans for my Dell PowerConnect 5424 switch.
Indeed I bought an used one month ago and when I’ve switched it on, I was just amazed how loudy it was.
In fact it’s so loudy that you can find numerous kit on Internet to make it more silent.
I’ve just ordered one on ebay and now wait to be delivered.

on se rend mieux compte du problème de place : la courbure du cable RJ45 est quasiment impossible
Aussi j’ai découvert récemment qu’il existe des câbles RJ45 coudés :
Je vais en commander pour voir si je peux garder le boitier CPL directement contre le mur et ainsi optimiser la distance.

La mise à jour de mes boîtiers CPL et l’arrivée de l’onduleur Eaton m’ont donné envie de mettre à jour également la partie électrique de mon installation au niveau du Home-Cinéma.
J’étais parti pour garder mes interrupteurs télécommandable Chacon et d’ajouter simplement une nouvelle multiprise de chez Legrand, jusqu’au moment où j’ai découvert la multiprise avec master / slave:

L’idée est simple : dés que vous coupez le périphérique connecté sur la prise maître, la multiprise détecte qu’elle ne fournit (quasiment) plus de tension sur cette prise maître et coupe toutes les autres prises esclaves.
On peut même régler – dans une certaine mesure – le seuil de détection grâce à une petite molette.
Après vérification que la multiprise soit bien compatible avec la Freebox Player, puis une étude de faisabilité, j’ai donc décidé de la commandé (avec un câble réseau coudé pour mon CPL).

Despite it’s no more updated, I love Newsfire : It fits perfectly my needs to read news on my Mac.
It once started to crash at launch. But after it has worked again without I was able to explain.
Recently it started again to crash at launch and after few days I was still unable to use it. As I say at the beginning I’m very keen of it. So I was sad to not be able to read my all beloved news.
From the fact that at the same time I’ve upgraded to El Capitan, I thought it was no more compatible with OSX 10.11.
But after investigation I’ve found that one of the site I was following was on maintenance and requested a login/password (like website with .htaccess file does).

And now it works again 🙂
So since my french ISP has decided to upgrade his php version to 5.6, I now once again able to run WordPress on my personal website.
Thanks to the .htaccess found on this blog, I was able to install and run the lastest version of WordPress.
I will try to post as much as possible.
I decided to swtich to english because it seems to be the Internet language 🙂 and that’s a good way to try to keep my current english level.
